On September 22-24, 2022, an exhibition of furniture, equipment and components for
wood&timber processing and furniture production "Furniture&Woodworking Ural" will be held at the IEC "Yekaterinburg-EXPO".
Over 150 manufacturers and suppliers of:

furniture, interior items;

equipment, components, and tools for furniture production;
-
equipment and tools for woodworking;
-
equipment and tools for forestry and timber industry;
-
logging equipment;
-
equipment and tools for processing stone, glass and metal
will take part in the exhibition.
Furniture & Woodworking Ural will be attended by owners, managers, specialists of furniture and interior stores, furniture manufactures, enterprises engaged in logging, timber processing, woodworking.
The Ural region and the Sverdlovsk region in particular have a high potential for the development of timber processing, woodworking industries, and the growth of furniture production. The Sverdlovsk region alone has the amount of wood raw materials sufficient for the annual increase in the amount of forest use and the development of woodworking industries. The annual investment volume in fixed assets in the timber industry amounted to almost 750 million rubles.
The total area of the forest fund of the Sverdlovsk region is 16,000,000 hectares. 82% of the area of the Sverdlovsk region is covered by forests. The total timber stock is 2 billion cubic meters.
By 2035, the volume of investments in the timber industry of the region is planned to be increased to 8 billion rubles. The total volume of goods shipped in the timber industry complex of the Sverdlovsk region amounted to about 30 billion rubles (woodworking, timber, furniture, paper).
The organizer of Furniture&Woodworking Ural is MVK — the organizer of one of the largest exhibitions in the furniture industry in Russia, the international exhibition of furniture, interior items, materials, components and equipment for woodworking and furniture production UMIDS.
